My name is Edna, and I am an extensively published and award winning fine art portrait photographer for the LA and OC area. I have over 27 years of professional photography experience and I LOVE photographing Families! I have photographed hundreds and hundreds of families over the last 30 years. From crazy 2 year olds that I need to run around with to generational family members 4 generations deep! I love that I get to be a part of the heirloom images and legacy of families all over Orange County and Los Angeles County. It is such an honor to show the love that radiates from families and show their deep connection and laughter!

I don’t like to just think of these session as family portraits.. I feel like with me you get the full experience of a fun loveable session. With plenty of running around, laughing, hugging and smiling! I want to show who you really are. Are you guys a silly family, a family that cuddles together, how about a prankster family. I want to show you as you guys really are!

To prepare

Please be sure to have your make up done. Normally you are gonna want to go heavier than you normally would wear your make up. Fake lashes always look great .. if that is your thing. My make up artist charges $250.00 for hair and make up but you don’t have to use my artist you can get your hair and make up done where ever you prefer.

Also get a mani and pedi for those gorgeous hands on face poses.

Having your hair professionally done ensures stunning, gorgeous locks in every image. From braids, to curls, to feathers in your hair; it’s all wonderful.

By booking with me you have access to my client wardrobe I have some pretty cool dresses, but if you are not interested in something so glam.. you can always just bring 2-3 outfits. I normally recommend something elegant that looks great on your body, a long flowy boho dress or a sweet summer dress. I also love jeans and a cute top. Then maybe, something a little more glam! Let’s chat more about what you should wear. Wardrobe should be coordinated not matching and go with your photography location.

2 Hours before sunset: Meet me at location with first outfit on

After Sunset: Go out to dinner and have some fun. I’m sure you guys look adorable and you deserve a nice dinner!

After the session, I’m here to guide you through the ordering process and design custom art for your home.

After the pictures are edited, I’ll have you either come to my home studio or meet with me over zoom depending on your distance from my home. You’ll see a slideshow with all your beautiful images. Then we’ll choose your favorites and design any custom products. You’ll be able to see samples so you can feel the luxury and get a better idea if this is right for you.

Images are ready for viewing about a week or two after the photo session.

I believe in getting everything right straight in camera so I don’t have to do very much retouching. I do remove things that are temporary like acne, dark circles, hair fly aways. Anything permanent like scars, moles and braces I do not retouch, unless requested. do smooth skin but it’s never plastic or fake looking and I want you to  be comfortable with the retouching so you can let me know if its too little or too much! Generally I like to brighten eyes and add an extra pop of color and contrast!
